The Gemini Pet Collective is a dedicated pet-sitting team committed to providing the best care for your pet. With many years of experience, we are confident in taking care of your pets and providing outstanding services to you. We have a strong passion for caring for animals and are always here to help.
Gemini Pet Collective was founded in January, 2026 in Salem, Oregon. It is a woman-owned and operated business, founded by Megan Alexander and Morgan Burckhard.
Our Team
Megan
I am a lifelong Oregonian with a deep love for animals and this place that we call home. I’ve been pet sitting since 2019, and have since realized the importance of pets feeling safe and comfortable in their own homes, especially while their human is away.
When I’m not pet sitting, you can find me at the beach with my camera, in Disneyland, or at home crafting. I love to crochet, paint, and do whatever DIY’s I can get my hands on.
As a pet parent myself, I understand that trust in a sitter is vital. I share my home with my partner, our dog, and four cats. They each have their own personalities, routines, and quirks, so I know that no two pets are the same. This has taught me patience and the importance of individual care routines.
Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or extended care, my goal is to treat your pet as if it were my own and leave you with some peace of mind when you leave your pet with me.
Morgan
Hello! I moved to Oregon in June of 2025, and I love it!
I have always had a passion for caring for animals since I started caring for my neighbor’s cat when I was 11. I always looked forward to walking to her house to visit her kitties. When I was 16, I started taking on more clients and staying overnight at people’s houses. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your fur babies behind, so I strive to ease some of that stress by taking great care of your pets.
When I’m not holding a leash, you can find me at the gym, on a hike, in the dance studio, with my friends, or behind a camera. I also have a 12-year-old bulldog named Bailey. We grew up together, and she has been a huge part of my life. If you know bulldogs, you know they are stubborn, and Bailey is the most stubborn girl I know, but I love her for it.
